Dear Tula,

Every part of Wiser Bible — every verse it opens, every discipline it holds, every question it invites — was made in your honor. Not as a monument. Not as a memorial. As a living thing, built in the presence of your life, and shaped by what your life has required of everyone around you.

You have never needed anyone to explain courage to you. You have lived it in ways most people never will — through procedures and protocols, through long nights and longer mornings, through a body that has asked more of you than any child should ever have to give. And through all of it, you have remained exactly yourself: curious, bright, full of something that cannot be reduced or taken.

This app was built because of you. Not for you in the way a gift is wrapped and handed over — but for you in the way that a father builds something with his hands because he cannot stop thinking about his daughter, and because the work is the only language large enough for what he feels.

Every scholar whose work lives in these pages was chosen with you in mind. Every question the app can hold was shaped by the hope that one day you might ask it. Every design decision — what to include, what to leave out, how to make it worthy — was made in the light of your name.

You are the reason this exists. Not as a footnote. As the foundation.

This is a small offering next to what you have already given. But it is yours — every field, every tab, every verse, every line of it — and it always will be. Wherever the work goes, it goes with your name written first. It was built for you. It was built because of you. And it will carry you with it, always.

Isaiah 40:29 says that God gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. You have proven that verse true in ways that have changed everyone who loves you. We are all stronger for knowing you.
